Blanchard Hill Washington
Blanchard Hill, like Fort Ebey, is along the "inland coast" of
Washington, Puget Sound. This is an area of micro-climates.
Blanchard is in the "banana belt" of fairer weather in the shadow
of the Olympic Mountains. Blanchard may be sunny and flyable on
a day when Fort Ebey is blown out by high winds and the Puget Sound
convergence zone dumps rain on Seattle and Everett.
