p. 3: The first chapters describe Don Fraser's victory in 1934 Silver Skis race and his experience in Europe for the 1936 Olympic Games, the opening of Sun Valley in 1936-37, Gretchen Kunigk's tutelage under instructor Otto Lang, her racing record in the late 1930s and early 1940s (including her win in the 1938 Silver Skis), her roles in the filming of "Thin Ice" and "Sun Valley Serenade," and the courtship and eventual marriage of Don and Gretchen on October 14, 1939.
