This collection contains much about the early years of the Mountaineers climbing course and Recreational Equipment, Inc. It also includes a copy of Lloyd Anderson's personal climbing notebook, published in 1980 (no skiing). For this project, the following item is noteworthy:

"The Stampede Chase"

This is a one-page description of rules and eligibility for a ski chase in the Stampede Pass area inaugurated by Wolf Bauer in 1936. I found it in the "Mountaineers Climbing Notebook 1937-1940" folder.
