High Angle Bush, Picket Range [ Index | Previous | Next ] - 17 of 20
Gordy Skoog rappels below timberline on the Barrier, North
Cascades. We didn't know anything about this route when we
decided to bail out of the southern Pickets after four days of
drizzle. Half way down the cliff we found a pack full of old
ropes and hardware. The owners probably abandoned any thoughts
of retrieving it once they got out.
