Green Mountain North Cascades
"Downwind" Dave Kruglinski flies Green Mountain in the North
Cascades, with Glacier Peak beyond. Dense forests and wilderness
valleys are typical of these mountains, making it difficult to find
good flying sites. Downwind Dave was one of the most persistent
explorers and Green Mountain was one of his discoveries. Sadly,
Dave died while flying in the Methow Valley in the spring of 1997.
