Mount Daniel Cascades
Steve Steckmyer inflates his glider on the southeast shoulder of
Mount Daniel, with Chimney Rock in the distance. This day
developed into a para-trek. We hiked up Mount Daniel early, flew
down to Deep Lake, then hiked several thousand feet over a pass
to return to the valley where our car was parked. The scenery
made it all worthwhile.
